Voting Power:
The general assembly makes decisions with three-quarters majority of the votes (see: ownership structure); supervisory board (the City of Wiener Neustadt 3 Persons having up to 75% share of the capital stock, Province of Lower-Austria 2 Persons having between 25% and 50% share of the capital stock); furthermore three council members with a voice are represented on the supervisory board by operation of law; the University of Applied Sciences Association Wiener Neustadt has a seat, but no voice on the board. The supervisory board makes decisions by majority of votes.
Purpose of the Business:
The purpose of the company is establishment and implementation of the university of applied sciences study programmes, as well as provisions for the purpose of education and training. Likewise, the purpose of the company is research and development, and implementation of all business proceedings related to establishment and operations of a university of applied aciences or research, together with contribution to similar enterprises in carrying out research, seminars, trainings and holding examinations.
